Foot Drag -
Strengthens hamstrings. How it works: Works the hamstrings by using
the floor instead of gravity for resistance. Repeat several times
each leg.
Foot Raise
- (Dorsi Flexion) Keeps legs moving while sitting and strengthens
the muscles on the front of the shin. How it works: Mimics the
walking pattern. Repeat several times on each side.
Foot Pedal
- (Planter Flexion) Stimulates blood return from your feet to your
heart by mimicking the walking pattern. Also strengthens the calf
muscles. How it works: Uses the ground force to generate resistance.
Repeat several times on each side.
Foot Roller
- Stimulates sensory nerves found at the bottom of your foot. How it
works: The roller serves as a massager. (need a foot roller for this
exercise).
Quadricep Stretch
- Releases tension from prolonged sitting. How it works: The hip
flexors get tight when sitting. This exercise will stretch them.
Repeat once on each side.
